Yoni Sharon works with Monash University Faculty of Engineering leadership, academics and their industrial partners to create impactful research projects. Yoni enjoys using his previous academic and industry experience to close gaps and facilitate industry-academia partnerships. His professional responsibilities were in research and development, product development, business development, stakeholder management and strategy roles. 

In recent years Yoni has been investing his passion in supporting applied research projects in defence, agriculture and water across Australia and Asia. 

Yoni holds a bachelors degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a PhD from Tel Aviv University, and has worked in three continents.
